The TransGrid route defies common sense

TransGrids proposed route Bannaby 3 compared to the common sense route along side the existing transmission lines Bannaby 1.

The Bannaby 2 route now being irrelevant.

Common sense would say a straight line is the shortest and cheapest option. The affect of another line beside an existing line would be much less than running through undisturbed land.
